The NSW Police Federation had asked for a number of changes, including a ban on «electronic broadcasting devices», a ban on «electronic surveillancenatyasastra.com devices», a requirement for cameras on motorbikes and helmets and a new policy.
The union said it wasnatyasastra.com concerned the «no-fly list» was already showing up in «significant numbers» on Australian politicians’ personal mobile phones.
The union and the National Security Bureau have been urging the government to scrap the «no-fly» system since the government first introduced it in 2001.
The bill proposes a «robust and systematic review of all security measures» to determine which are effective at keeping Australians safe, but it did not specifically target mobile phones.
The Federal Opposition has slammed the government over the spying and said the surveillance of MPs and senators’ communications «is unacceptable».
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said last year the police had the ability to track down any person or company providing telecommunications services to people on the no-fly list, but no-fly lists «are바카라 not linked to the legitimate interests of an individual or company», he said.
